Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please read this policy carefully before making a payment.

1. No Refund Policy

All course fees paid to Semicon Gurukul are strictly non-refundable. Once a payment is made and enrollment is confirmed, no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

This applies to, but is not limited to, the following situations:

Change of mind or personal preference after payment.
Inability to attend due to personal schedule conflicts or work commitments.
Partial course completion or voluntary withdrawal mid-course.
Dissatisfaction with course content after commencement.
Failure to attend sessions without prior notice.
Duplicate payments made in error (see Section 6 for dispute process).

2. Why We Have This Policy

Our courses involve significant upfront infrastructure costs — including EDA tool licenses, lab environment setup, instructor preparation, and small-batch planning. This policy enables us to sustain the high quality and personalised attention that our students benefit from. We encourage all prospective students to attend a free demo session before enrolling to ensure the course meets their expectations.

3. Course Deferral

While refunds are not available, students who are unable to commence a batch due to a genuine reason (such as a medical emergency or sudden relocation) may submit a one-time request to defer to a future batch of the same course.

Deferral is subject to the following conditions:

The deferral request must be submitted in writing via our Contact page at least 7 days before the course start date.
Supporting documentation (e.g. medical certificate) may be required.
Deferral is subject to availability of a future batch and is granted at the sole discretion of Semicon Gurukul.
Each student is entitled to a maximum of one deferral per enrollment.
Deferred enrollment cannot be further transferred, resold, or refunded.

4. Cancellation by Semicon Gurukul

In the unlikely event that Semicon Gurukul cancels a scheduled course batch before it commences:

Enrolled students will be notified promptly via the contact details provided at enrollment.
Students will be offered a place in the next available batch of the same course, or
A full refund of the course fee will be issued within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

Semicon Gurukul's liability in the event of cancellation is limited to the course fee paid. No additional compensation will be provided.

5. Mid-Course Disruption

If a course is disrupted mid-way due to reasons attributable to Semicon Gurukul (such as instructor unavailability or technical failure), we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the affected sessions or provide supplementary materials. No refund will be issued for individual missed or rescheduled sessions.

6. Payment Disputes & Errors

If you believe a payment was made in error, you were charged an incorrect amount, or you see an unexpected charge, please contact us within 48 hours of the transaction via our Contact page. Include your transaction ID and the amount charged.

We will investigate and respond within 3 business days. Chargebacks initiated without prior communication with us may be contested.

7. Governing Law

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
